Sao Paulo, Rio and Salvador, Brazil. The classes, conducted either as a one-on-one session or in groups of two or three, cater to any level of Brazilian Portuguese, from beginner to most advanced, and address the specific needs of researchers, social workers, NGO personnel, travelers, businesspeople, etc. The program includes all study materials and some trip tours to introduce students to the local culture. In addition to teaching the language, the lessons familiarize the student with many aspects of Brazilian culture - music, dance, literature, Capoeira, Brazilian slang, and regional differences in the language. Accommodations are arranged in the homes of carefully selected Portuguese-speaking host families or in guest-houses or hotels.
