VERBS III - PRETÉRITO PERFEITO

This would be our Past Simple tense. It indicates a fact that happened already, and is over, concluded. Like the Past Simple, it refers to an action that is placed perfectly in the past.

Exemplos:

Almocei no restaurante a kilo. (I had lunch at the kilo restaurant)

Andei pelas ruas da cidade.  (I walked around the streets of the city)

Nós arrumamos tudo e saímos mais cedo de casa. (We packed everything up and left the house earlier)

Perdi minhas chaves ontem. (I lost my keys yesterday)
