VERBS III – PRETÉRITO PERFEITO

This is our Past Simple Tense, which indicates an action that has happened already, is over, or has already concluded. Like the Past Simple, it refers to an action that is placed perfectly in the past.

Exemplos:

Almocei no restaurante a kilo. (I had lunch at the kilo restaurant.)

Andei pelas ruas da cidade. (I walked around the streets of the city.)

Nós arrumamos tudo e saímos mais cedo de casa. (We packed everything up and left the house earlier.)

Perdi minhas chaves ontem. (I lost my keys yesterday.)
