PREPOSIÇÃO - PREPOSITION
 
In Portuguese, there is a kind of word we use to connect words to each other: the preposition. It is an invariable word which links two other words in a way that the first word’s meaning is completed by the second one. It links a dependent term to a main term or a secondary one, establishing a relation of possession, manner, place, cause, end, and so on, between both.
 
Some examples of preposition:
A, COM, EM, POR, ANTE, CONTRA, APÓS, SEM, SOB, PARA, SOBRE, ATÉ, DESDE...
