The letters K, W, Y, do not belong to it, yet. There is a proposal stating that from next year on, our alphabet will have 26 letters. If this happens, both the Brazilian Alphabet and the Portuguese Alphabet will be the same. This is part of a plan to reduce the differences between the Portuguese variances around the world.
